- Braces. We provide metal, ceramic, and 3D-printed customizable clear braces to straighten your teeth and align your bite. Our flexibility and creativity with treatment modality allows us to achieve amazing results efficiently.
- Invisalign. We are a certified Invisalign provider, offering a discreet alternative to braces for patients who are candidates.
- Interceptive (Phase 1) Orthodontics. Interceptive orthodontics refers to early orthodontic treatment that helps to correct issues and guide growth in ways that improve future outcomes.
- Two-Phase Orthodontics. Our two-phase approach to orthodontics provides interceptive orthodontics at an early age when necessary to develop the skeletal framework and facilitate the natural eruption of adult teeth. This first phase of treatment significantly reduces the likelihood of adult tooth extraction and/or surgical intervention later in life. When all of the adult teeth are present, the patient is eligible for a second phase of traditional orthodontic treatment to straighten the teeth and create your desired beautiful smile. - Adult, Teen, and Child Orthodontics. Many adults choose to have orthodontic treatment for a variety of reasons. We offer orthodontic treatment for adults as well as children and teens.
- Airway Orthodontics. Orthodontic treatment can improve breathing while awake and while sleeping. Sleep apnea has many components, and often, jaw and tooth position may play a pivotal role. Orthodontic treatment may reduce severity and, combined with other treatments, can treat sleep apnea.
- Surgical Orthodontics. When orthodontic treatment alone is not able to make the necessary adjustments to the position of your teeth, surgical orthodontics may be needed. We work closely with the best oral surgeons in the area to provide the pre and post-surgery treatment you need.
Dr. Kofos earned his DMD degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum laude, prior to completing his Orthodontic residency and simultaneous masters in medical science from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kofos has won several awards for his research in dental materials and aims to bring cutting-edge, scientifically backed technology to the forefront of his clinical practice of orthodontics.
He is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He is highly trained in both Invisalign treatment and traditional braces. Dr. Kofos looks forward to creatively working with you or your child to find the most efficient way to achieve that perfect result.
Dr. Kofos currently lives in Boston with his wife, 2-year-old son, and two large dogs. Having grown up in the greater Boston area, he is an AVID Boston sports fan. He loves comedy, the arts, and you can catch him playing pick-up basketball or writing music when he’s not in the clinic treating and laughing with patients of all ages!

Your first visit will include a consultation and evaluation. Our pretreatment records include a panoramic radiograph, facial photos, and a 3D scan of your mouth. We will thoroughly review every record with you and work with you to determine the best course of treatment.
